you used to be the reason, for my smile.you still are.

Today's the first time I paid total and full attention to my medical sociology lecture.
Somehow, the topic enticed me so much that I was still busy copying notes and thinking things through even after the lecture ended.

The lecture today was about the medical training and preparations that doctors have to undergo and it is interesting to note that for all the prestige and high salaries they get in the end, they face a great deal of uncertainties and pressures in their life.
It has never dawned upon me that every step they take from meeting patients to making diagnosis to prescribing medication to after care consultations, involves more than just their medical knowledge but also their guts and emotional strength.
And above that, some doctors too, like any one of us, face low self esteem, especially if they can't decide whether it is the limitations of their expertise or the limitations of medical science itself that caused a failed diagnosis.

Anyway, in short, I had a great lecture today.
I guess Allah is answering my prayers to open up my heart to this subject which makes my head spin all the time in dizziness. Alhamdullillah.
